Get to know: Catherine Swiniarski, the Founding Partner of Elder Law of Omaha

Catherine N. Swiniarski is the owner and founder of Elder Law of Omaha (ELO). She started ELO in August of 2011 after realizing how underserved our elderly population is in Omaha and the surrounding areas. Catherine says that, “Serving the Greatest Generation is a privilege and an honor.” Her practice has since grown from her paralegal’s kitchen table to her own building where she is now joined with three more attorneys and a support staff of eight.
Catherine was born and raised in Omaha. She went to Papillion- LaVista high school, continued onto the University at Nebraska at Lincoln then went to Creighton Law School. Upon graduation she taught legal research and writing as an adjunct instructor at the law school. She has worked at Kiewit Corporation as a contract attorney and taught legal research and writing at Metro Community College and College of St. Mary in Omaha. When Catherine isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years, Joe, their six kids and three young grandchildren. Her greatest aspiration is to travel extensively.

Catherine’s practice includes estate planning, asset preservation, guardianships and conservatorships, and probate. Elder Law of Omaha offers caring guidance through life’s journey. Call 402-614-6400 for a free 30 min consultation.
